What a fantastic place, absolutely five star accommodation, nice and private and also with children it felt very safe. We felt very welcome, with a nice welcome pack on arrival, and excellent communication throughout. The heated pool and hot tub were a brilliant addition. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday.

Puzzle Residence beyond exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is huge and luxurious. The location is a little out of town, but just a ten minute walk to a shop, and about 30 minutes to the first bit of sea. We had no problem getting around without a taxi. We loved every second of our stay, and Nikos was the most gracious host, meeting our needs regardless of the time of day. And his mother was just an angel! She picked us up from town one day when we struggled to get a taxi and were in a rush, and brought us over some delicious home made treats. If you’re thinking of staying here, stop thinking and just do it! You will not regret it!

We had the best time!! The house is even bigger than expexted. Everything exactly as described. Fully stocked kitchen. And even homemade pastitsio by Niko's mother. Can't wait to come back again someday.

The house, patios, and pool are beautiful and clean. It is close to downtown Rethymno and half way between Heraklion and Chania. It is right off the highway so it is easy to access. Rethymno is a beautiful historic town with fun places to eat and great walking around. The hosts were responsive to our communications, immediately helpful while we were there, and had the kitchen stocked with food for our late arrival. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house and pool.

We would highly recommend staying at the Puzzle Residence. The standard of finish on the place is very high, the place is very clean and regularly serviced whilst we stayed there. When we had a few small minor problems they were resolved within the day with no fuss.
We stayed with our young children and they had a fantastic time, we would often struggle to get them out of the pool to go out and do activities!
Rethymno is a great location, the old town is a very interesting visit and as a central town to Crete we could explore lots of the key sites on Crete quite easily with our rental vehicle.
Nikos and his family were warm and friendly and even prepared food for our family and offered to help with sourcing local services and food orders.
We would definitely recommend visiting the Puzzle Residence, thank you for an amazing stay!

Can’t fault the stay! The residence was EXACTLY as pictured if not better! The communication was second to none and there was always someone there to help throughout the stay. We had massages, booked the chef and went on a private yacht which was all through the residence. We will be back. Thank you!!!!

Alles ist genau wie im Inserat beschrieben. Ein sehr sauberes und modernes Haus. Neuste Küchengeräte etc.
Die Außenanlage ist sauber und wunderschön und die Gastgeber waren stets zuvorkommen und einfach unfassbar nett. Wenn wir könnten würden wir direkt nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

What a great house! We really enjoyed our stay and have experienced a week of luxury. When we arrived we already received some groceries to start with, very nice. The garden was amazing and also the inside of the house was great and very clean. It really had everything and also the kitchen was fully equipped. Nikos’ brother was very accommodating for all our questions, there was a nice cleaning lady twice and we even received delicious home made treats from his mother. The house is situated next to a road, but since there is a large gate it did not really bother us. Would recommend anyone to come here to enjoy the luxury and Rhetymno! Thanks so much Nikos!

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at Nikos' accommodation. The house was clean and beautifully furnished. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, snacks and drinks.
We also got homemade Greek specialities from Nikos.
The house is stunning and very luxurious. It is exactly like the photos! The pool is large and offers plenty of space to relax.
We could contact Nikos at any time if we had any questions. He called a taxi for us and gave us great tips for beautiful beaches and good restaurants.
Nikos is a great host and we will be happy to come back!

Nikos space was fantastic. I traveled with two friends and we enjoyed the all en suite bedrooms. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy. There were lots of thoughtful storage and design ideas. The hosts left lovely snacks, breakfast items and drinks that were really thoughtful. The beds were extremely comfortable. The space is huge, and the outdoor space is even larger than the pictures. It’s located right outside city center and easily navigated the rest of Crete. Would definitely recommend staying!

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at Puzzle Residence. The villa is amazing - just as good as the pictures - and we really loved the pool, hot tub and table tennis table. Nikos and his brother George were very helpful and very quick to respond when we had any questions. The villa was spotlessly clean and cleaned twice during our stay. Lots of great fruit, bread and fridge items for us when we arrived and we loved the cheese pies made by Mum too!

Rethymno is lovely - we could walk to the centre in about 45mins but it is only a 10min drive and there was plenty of cheap parking (or free on the seafront) in early April, before the busier season. Lots of great shops and restaurants in the centre (eg Othonas Taverna), and Taverna Zisis (5mins walk from the villa) was really good too.

We loved Crete, Rethymno and Puzzle Residence and would fully recommend it. Thanks, George and Nikos!

Nikos was a great host and the Puzzle Residence is in a great location in Crete. Perfectly between Chania and Heraklion if you want to visit them and the house is very clean, pool and hot tub are great addition. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic property just outside Rethymnon. 5* accommodation- comfy beds, lovely bathrooms, quality linens, and really clean and comfortable. Great heated pool, hot tub, table tennis table and quality outside furniture. So much space! The Residence is on quite a busy road, but the traffic noise isn’t intrusive and we were completely hidden from view inside the property. You need a car to get to supermarkets/ restaurants/beach - but there’s so much to explore in Crete anyway (if you can drag yourself away from this place). Communication with Nikos and Bill was excellent- and we very much enjoyed the Pastichio for dinner- a lovely touch! Property was beyond our expectations- we’d love to return.

alles war stimmig. Von Anfang bis Ende passt es zu 100% wie beschrieben. Es ist ein mega Haus mit sehr hochwertiger Einrichtung und allem was man Zuhause hat und nochmehr! JEDES Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Badezimmer mit WC und Dusche / Badewanne. Für Kinder gibt es eine extra Spielecke mit sehr viel Spielzeug. Top Pool (mit vorgewärmten Wasser) und Whirpool. zweimal in der Woche kommt die Putzfrau. Die Besitzer haben sogar einmal für uns, eine Landesspeise gekocht. Unsere Kinder haben sogar noch extra, Spielzeug geschenkt bekommen. Zum Strand, Supermarkt, Ort sind es 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wenn wir wieder nach Kreta fahren, dann dahin! Alles war richtig top, sauber und freundlich!

Everything was right. From start to finish, it fits 100% as described. It is a mega house with very high quality furnishings and everything you have at home and more! EACH bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet and shower / bathtub. There is an extra play area for children with lots of toys. Top pool (with preheated water) and whirlpool. The cleaning lady comes twice a week. The owners even cooked a local dish for us once. Our children even received toys as gifts. It is 5 minutes by car to the beach, supermarket and town. If we go to Crete again, then there! Everything was really great, clean and friendly

Excellent villa exactly like the pictures. easy access to the beach front with lots of restaurants, bars etc.We had cleaning twice during our week long stay which was perfect.
Nikos and his family were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Nikos was able to arrange car rentals, taxis and restaurant recommendations. his brother also was extremely helpful. Nikos' mother made us traditional moussaka and some barbecued meat which was delicious! we wish we had stayed longer!

we absolutely loved our stay in this villa! George, Nikos’ brother was there to greet us upon arrival, (despite it being passed midnight!) and gifted us with a lovely food and snacks hamper as a welcome present. They were very quick to help with any enquiries or questions we had and helped us book a taxi to and from the airport. Our flight back was a late departure and they were kind enough to offer a late check out, which we really appreciated. We spent less time exploring the area and more time in the villa because it was THAT amazing!

The pictures show you exactely what you will get on site. The house and the area around it is really clean, in its best condition, very modern and a lively place to stay for a while.

The host and his family are 24/7 available. Further they are friendly, helpful, communicative.

You will reach the city (Rethymno) in about 5 minutes by car and the beaches around in 5-10 minutes.

The house was perfect, clean, modern, exactly what you see on the picture. The pool was amazing.
The host make the rental even better with great communication and hospitality you not use to see anymore in airbnb. Family kind, with smile, stuff in the fridge when you arrive, the mum even cook meal for us one night and it was delicious ! Thanks again !

Our stay at Nikos place was awesome! The swimmingpool is amazing and the whole house is super comfortable. Everything is very new and stylish. Niko was from day 1 super helpful and quick in his answers. We would book again the place without hesitation! Totally recommend it! Even on our last day the Niko's mum (who live in the house upstairs) brought as some typical Cretan food, delicious!

Absolut perfekt!! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, wir waren von der ersten Sekunde am begeistert. Nikos ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Ein Besonderes Highlight waren die Leckereien die Nikos Mutter uns zubereitet hat. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet (man hört die Straße stört aber nicht) Morgens ist man schnell beim Bäcker und mittags am Strand. Urlaub von der ersten Minute in einer unglaublich schönen Atmosphäre.

The Puzzle Residence is fabulous. I stayed here for three weeks with two friends and the entire experience was luxurious perfection. Nikos is a wonderful host - his communication was great throughout and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. One of the highlights was his mother dropping over some homemade Greek food which was always delicious and such a nice surprise. The villa itself is amazing and brand new. The beds are really comfortable, all appliances are high spec and there is a lot of space. The town of Rethymno is a short drive away and the villa is in a great location to explore both the east and west of Crete. I couldn't recommend staying here enough and hope to be able to come back again soon!

Nikos est un hôte incroyable : maison (finalisée en début d'année donc en parfait état et avec de beaux matériaux) parfaitement apprêtée pour notre arrivée, réponses à toutes nos questions, il est très disponible avant et pendant le séjour tout en restant discret. De bon conseil aussi pour la location de voiture dès l'aéroport si besoin. Nous avons également eu droit à de nombreuses attentions, encore merci pour tout, les fruits, la moussaka, les beignets... et tous les jeux pour enfants. The Puzzle Residence is a truly luxurious, brand new apartment (house) with a really gorgeous private pool. The house is newly built this year and the interior and exterior have been done beautifully. This house would suit people who want to hire a car and explore Crete a little bit. The historic town centre of Rythymno is a 10 minute drive away and the best beaches on the south coast are about 40 minutes away ( a beautiful drive!) The host, Nikos (and family), live next door and are such a nice, welcoming family. Nikos' mother is an amazing cook and brought us Moussaka, grilled meats and fish and lots of homemeade treats for us which really was incedibly kind of her. They are a very warm family and always wanted to help. I cannot recommend this place enough.....
